Bootshaus am Hechtkopf in Remseck am Neckar

As always, very cozy and ate very well. And to the negative evaluators: as you shout into the forest, it comes out again! With us, the "boss" and the staff were ALWAYS nice because we were too, think about it!

Very nice professional staff. Selection not too much and not too little therefore very good. The ambience in the restaurant is very cozy and modern at the same time. The eye catcher is the bar that is in a boat shape, you don't see it every day! Likewise the terrace .. with a view of the Neckar, just great. The card has everything your heart desires. Also important ... wheelchair friendly! There is a deduction because of the construction site of the new town hall - but the restaurant cannot do anything about that.

The location is fantastic. We were in the beer garden. The food didn't blow my mind. We ordered salad with chicken strips for 12.50 and Leberkäs with potato salad for 9.50. The price is not justified for what you get on your plate in terms of quality and quantity. Even a children's portion is bigger. It didn't convince me in terms of taste either. A very nice address for nice evenings on the bank with beer and chips.

Absolutely overpriced, portions of mini sausage salad were just a handful, the cheese out of the bag for 10 € is absolutely outrageous. Staff very unfriendly! Was the first and last time. It's a shame because the location is actually very nice.

We cycle 10 to 12 times a year to the boathouse and are always super satisfied .... Some think the staff is ... unfriendly !? If I order and notice in front of me the arrogance with which the order is placed or the staff is addressed .. I am not surprised! An old saying with a lot of TRUTH !!! Just like calling into the forest ... it comes back!

The location gets 5 stars. However, absolutely overpriced. For a really small bowl of French fries, 4 EUR is too much of a good thing.

The food is not recommended. Price / performance ratio is unfortunately not right here at all. Very stingy small portions at e.g. Sausage salad or salad with gyros meat. It didn't really taste good either. Drive a few km on the Neckar. Both the Uferstüble and the Boothaus in Marbach offer significantly more for the money in a similarly great location. This is where savings are made at the wrong end. We don't get to eat anymore.

Very nice location at the confluence of the Neckar and Rems rivers. The food is too expensive in view of the great location, the portions too small for the price, a small bowl of wild potatoes for 5 €. The price is significantly more juicy than the wild potatoes or the frozen chicken, but the salad just drowns in its sauce.

Great location, really cozy. Food was good too. Is actually a 5 star location, but a star deduction due to the tone of the staff. Not exactly unfriendly, but you don't feel comfortable. I had the feeling that I had to apologize for ordering something. Maybe I just had a bad day.

The location is awesome! You sit right on the Hechtkopf where Rems flows into Neckar. Opposite the Neckar beach. The food & opening times are a disaster. In addition, it is very expensive in proportion. A family member vomited after a court trial. Since then never ate in the beer garden downstairs.

Unfortunately I arrived too late. Kitchen closed from 7 p.m. But very nicely located. I'll be back to try the kitchen and I'll report.

Ideal rest for cyclists. Great view and delicious fried sheep cheese. The fries could be a little crispier

Extremely unfriendly service. Can actually only be the boss's daughter. Allow employees aren't that rude. Wanted to order a sour shandy. Immediately got an annoyed answer "we won't do that" and the rest of the process was just unfriendly. They'll never see us again. But with the location you can afford it

The location is very beautiful on the Neckar. The beach is directly opposite, so a bit noisy. I ordered a half and got 0.4 L (even in a 0.4 l glass). Doesn't work at all. Toilet was clean.

Super nice location for a bike tour on the Neckar. However, the boss gave the unfriendly advice directly that you couldn't get a sour shandy here, and that you couldn't mix an extra glass yourself. Unfortunately there is only one star from us and probably no more visitors.

Very nice location, but the price-performance ratio is not right. € 27 for 2 non-alcoholic wheat and 2 sausage salads. There was more cucumber in the sausage salad than sausage. There were enough places available on Saturday afternoon. Therefore no crowds at the counter

Nice location between two rivers and unfortunately that was all. Bad implementation of hygiene rules and very small but expensive portions. € 9.50 for a mini Swiss sausage salad with bread is a word. The fact that even the cheese is already grated cheese puts the crown on it again Mini-portions of French fries for € 4 are unfortunately anything but cheap, and the friendliness has a lot of room for improvement. Conclusion: view great, the rest a flop, a little more love for the hospitality and food would do well here. Fine as a beer garden without food.

Location is awesome at the confluence of the Rems and Neckar. Construction site catastrophic parking situation. Food is good, and after years of always having the same menu, something new: sheep's cheese! Owner very nice! It's best to come by bike!

The boathouse has a beautiful beer garden. You can sit right on the Neckar. Unfortunately there is no currywurst on the menu. However, I can recommend the gyros. Look at the pictures, the location is just awesome. Very suitable to take a little break during a bike tour. With the price you have to consider that the location is also paid for. For a great dinner I would rather go somewhere else, but fine for a little bite in between.

Super nice place. The food was tasty, the portions were big and everything was reasonably priced. Also the atmosphere is amazing and service is great. Definitely recommend you to try it out! Dankeeee :)

Nice view but too expensive for the general area it's located in.

One of the worst possible place to choose in Stuttgart. I was there with two friends and while we were queuing for self service, the main waiter (probably the boss - quite fat and long black hair - with highly visible and ugly underwear) was talking badly and insulting almost all clients ("If you have no patience I don't care", "If you break the glass you pay 3 euros"). Totally unacceptable, and I would really advise whoever reads this message to pick up any other available place next to the river. There is not such a thing as a negative tip. This would be the right place to start.
